Travnik & Jajce

Travnik, is a town in central Bosnia & Herzegovina and has one of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval fortified buildings in Bosnia.

Other important sites to see are the Suleiman Mosque, Blue Water Spring and the birth house of Nobel Laureate Ivo Andric.

Jajce is the only town in Europe which has a waterfall in the center of the town. The Ottoman era watermills, stand on stills on the Pliva Lake. Because of the natural, historical and architectural value, the area around the lakes with Pliva mill complex was declared a national monument of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
