Vrelo Bosne (the source of river Bosna) is one of the most famous destination of natural beauty in the region. It can be reached from Ilidza through the Grand Avenue by foot or by carriage.

The Romans were the first to build baths here, the Ottomans used its waters for healing purposes and the Hapsburgs developed most of its current infrastructure.

Bjelasnica Mountain, 25 km from Sarajevo, is a ski resort mountain, that boasts hiking trails to Lukomir the last all-year-through inhabited semi-nomadic settlement at this altitude in the Balkans. Paragliding, mountain safari on quadbikes, picnics and mountain biking are some of the activities that can be arranged on Bjelasnica Mountain.
