Visit Mostar
Mostar is the capital of the Herzegovina region, perched 60m above the Neretva River.
The most attractive place in Mostar is the Old Bridge, built during the Ottoman period and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.
Sadly it was destroyed during the war but through combined efforts with the international community, rebuilding of The Old Bridge was completed in 2004, using some of its original pieces recovered from the Neretva river.
