Visit BOHINJ

The name Bohinj translates roughly as “God’s Land”.

The glacial lake is the largest of Slovenia’s lakes and is 527m above sea level within the Julian Alps basin in the Triglav National Park.

The natural beauty of high mountains, green forests, and beautiful meadows, the cultural and historical monuments, and the friendly villages and towns guarantee a pleasant stay in Bohinj. In winter the valley becomes a winter sports center, while during the summer activities range from swimming and biking to kayaking and fishing.
